Honda 400/4

Pictured here is Colin Telford's Honda 400/4, Colin has owned the bike since 2008 and has spent a reasonable sum on the restoration of this beautiful little bike. David Silver and of course E-bay members suppliying various parts . Colin feels the thrill of the hunt for parts is all part of the restoring bug, for example, the front brake caliper was sourced from California U.S.A!.

The pilot light assy is part Honda CM400 and part CB400/4, Colin stripped both units right down to the little pieces of coloured plastic lenses. Having re sprayed the top and bottom halves, he then set about rebuilding a better looking pilot light assy with the best bits from both units. Lifting the thin metal printed front was a particular highlight of the work!
