Planning

Touring on a classic bike can be a real adventure. It's all your own work, you got it running, you know that machine inside out. Go on, take a long weekend or a whole week or more and go touring. Arrange it with your local section. The feeling of pride in your machine becomes immense! There are so many places to go. There are so many places to stay, camping, caravans, B&B, guest houses and a variety of starred motels and hotels. You"re not even restricted to the UK. How about Ireland, France or Spain or even further afield for the more adventurous. There are members of the VJMC who are members of single marque clubs. Many of these have European rallies abroad. Take the Z1 Owners Club, for example. They have regular rallies in Germany. Yes, members do ride their Zeds there!
