Honda CM90
The Honda pictured here
is a CM90 it belongs to member John Drewery. This version of the "step though" Honda was registered in Suffolk in
1966 and is fitted with the earlier 87cc push rod engine, these are somewhat unusual as they are a break from
the normal Honda tradition as they use a cast iron cylinder head. As the frame was very rust free and has never needed welding, the indicated
18,000 miles recorded is possibly correct. These push rod engined variants were only made for one year and
are now becoming very rare. The picture below was taken on a VJMC Suffolk Section run to
Bawdsey.
