Yamaha FS1-E

Description

The Yamaha FS1-E, or more commonly known as a "fizzy", was a must have moped for 16 year olds from its UK introduction in 1972 up until 1977 when the British government introduced new legislation to restrict the maximum speed of mopeds to 30mph. Pictured here are part of Per Brandt's collection of bikes. Pictured above is a 1977 Kenny Roberts speedblock special. The "SS" pictured below is a 1973 bike and is believed it could be the oldest surviving UK bike
