This is Gary Dean's 1979 ‘N’ model GS850 which he bought in July this year (2008) after it
had stood unused in a garage in Henley for the last 7 years. It was ‘cosmetically challenged’ and would
not run off choke but the potential was there and it was very cheap! Dean took a chance and after a carb
strip/clean, service and a good clean & polish this is the end result.
Other than the Motad 4-1, carrier & black coated braided hoses it is as it came out of the factory in ’79 and is only showing 16,500 miles which is believe is a genuine. It is now sharing garage space with a GS1000S and a DL650 V-Strom
