KH500

This is my 1976 Kawasaki KH500 Millyard special (2 engines made into a 5 cylinder). The Bike has featured in Classic Bike and Classic Motorcycle Mechanics. I have owned the machine for 2 years and was bought from my best mate, Steve Huntley, who sadly died in a tragic motorbike accident. He had a fine collection of 23 bikes, mostly Suzuki but this one stood out from the crowd. This bike was bought from the genius Allen Millyard, (by Steve with a very large brown envelope ! ), who had made this for himself as its the last 5 cylinder he will make. Sadly Steve never rode her so I have made up for this. I have become friends with Allen, who lives very close to me, and enjoy riding her, even if she returns 20 mpg if i am lucky. I almost enjoy cleaning, servicing etc as much as i do riding her ( almost) The sound of her is immense and below is a link to Allens youtube site where you can hear her, also links to his other master pieces such as his 8L dodge viper bike, 4 cylinders etc etc and also a link to his new 5L twin that is under construction. Of all my bikes i own, past and present this surely is my baby now (even though the wife tells me i shouldn't have favorites !).
