Phil Ramsell's RD250
I got the bike at the beginning of 2009 and as I started to strip her down,
realised the job was going to be a lot bigger than I expected. The majority of parts are original, but I could
never have managed without patten parts. The paintwork and chrome were done, to a very high standard, by
members of the Air cooled RD club. The engine only had a basic strip down and check by myself, it all seemed to
be good for a thirty year old bike. When it was properly on the road I discovered it needed a re bore, what a
difference!
After two years of hard work the MOT was a formality and I started to enjoy that
"Teenage feeling" again.
