Les Bensley's 1975 Suzuki RE5M
Having loved and owned a
blue RE5M for 20 years, I made a mistake and sold it 2 years ago and never got over it . Recently
a friend was selling his Firemist Orange RE5M that he had restored 8 years ago. A new engine
proper had been fitted, and has only done 10 miles, along with new clocks, stainless spokes,
seat, engine casings, gearbox internals, wire looms, Suzuki S mirrors, radiators and all the bits that
hold the bike together. As you can see a ton of money was spent restoring this bike. A credit to the
former owner.
Sadly, its not been used for the last 6 years (engine has been run every month) and has
collected dust and some corrosion to the casings, so work for the winter
months.
