The Club For Classic Japanese Motorcycles

Thought I’d send you some pictures of my recently completed YDS6C ’Street Scambler', which I’ve been working on for the last 10 months. The bike is a 1969 model which came in to the UK a couple of years ago in a pretty battered state having been involved in at least one (but maybe more) crashes. Having said that it was very original having only lost its rear foot pegs, which is remarkable for a +45 year old bike, was still on the original Dunlop tyres and only showing 8000 miles.

I’ll be applying for an age certificate to the club soon and hope to have the bike out to local shows this spring.

Would much appreciate your comments on the bike, as I’ve not seen another one in the UK (I know it’s not an official UK model), so I guess it’s a pretty rare thing.

I’ve also included a picture of my 1969 DT1-B, just so she doesn’t feel left out!!
